Tejvan organises short-distance running and cycling races for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in his home city of Oxford. He is also a very good cyclist, having won the National hill climb championships in 2013 and finished 3rd in the National 100 Mile Time Trials in 2014.
Vasanti swimming across the Channel.
Vasanti Niemz, of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team, completed a unique triathlon from Dover to Aachen, between 3.-6. Sept. 2010) Firstly, Vasanti swam the English Channel in a time of 16 hours 50 minutes. This was 25 years after her first successful swim in 1985.

On reaching the coast of ran, Vasanti then cycled 300km and then ran two marathons and before finishing her epic feat of self-transcendence in Aachen, Germany.
